The main purpose of my trip was to visit the Nikola Tesla museum. Nikola Tesla (1856-1943) was a Serbian inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, and futurist who made significant contributions to the development of modern electricity and technology. Tesla is best known for his pioneering work in alternating current (AC), which laid the foundation for the modern electrical power distribution systems used worldwide. One of Tesla's most significant achievements was the development of the induction motor, a key component in AC power systems. His work is on display at the museum, as well as his ashes. He passed away on January 7, 1943, in New York City. Since his death, recognition for Tesla's work and contributions has grown significantly, and he is now regarded as one of history's most brilliant and influential inventors. His legacy lives on, and his innovations continue to shape the modern world in ways he could have only dreamed of during his lifetime.
